We all know exercise is good for us, so why don’t we do it? It can be overwhelming. How do I know that I am doing is what I need? Is this effective, safe, just a trend, or really what will help me achieve my goals? There is a lot of information out there and a lot of programs - which one is right for me?

Cost

Exercise can be expensive. Gym memberships, home exercise equipment, group classes, and personal trainers can improve your exercise experience but the costs add up fast. There is another way.  AHP doesn’t require a gym or special equipment. If you do have access to facilities and equipment then it opens up more exercise options, but it’s not required!  AHP gets you the benefits of personalized exercise with just one minimal monthly fee.

Existing injuries, pain, and health conditions

Going to the gym is supposed to be healthy for you and improve your mood. So you show up, start running on a treadmill and mimic exercises you see others doing. In no time your knees hurt, and your low back discomfort is getting worse. It doesn’t hurt when you sit on the couch! You think exercise just isn’t for you because your knees are too bad. This is too common. You can’t just push through pain and expect to achieve results and pain-free function.  

AHP wants to eliminate pain as a barrier to physical activity. This is why we have built in a detailed injury evaluator. We will assess your muscle and joint pain and injuries to develop a list of rehab exercises. If the injury is beyond the scope of our services, we will recommend a next step for treatment. Even while you are working to rehab an injury we will provide a second total body program that works around it.
